Pirates Cove!

We got to go to Pirates Cove this last weekend over Labor Day with a few guys Chad sold with and then a few others from other offices and their families. Pirates Cove is like one of the most amazing places ever that you just can’t quite explain. Your best way of knowing what it is would be to show pictures of the whole place but that would literally be a million pictures.

On our way to Pirates which is just by Lake Mead in Nevada my smart husband was going 13 over in a construction zone and got pulled over. And his darling wife forgot to put our new up to date insurance cards in the car. So when we add those two together we’re looking at a $1,000+ ticket. Lovely.
And to just make that all better once we got home Monday and I went to put our insurance in the car I couldn’t find it and then found it in my wallet which was in the car when we got pulled over.
And since we are on the topic of fun speeding tickets may I just add that Chad got pulled over in California back in January and somehow convinced me that since it was in Cali it didn’t matter and we didn’t need to pay a $200 dollar ticket so while we played that off so cool it got sent to collections and we now owe $1500. Oh the lessons we’re learning this first year.

Well back to Pirates… So we show up and there are 25+ bedrooms in this place and we’ve all been assigned to a room. It took you a good thirty to find your room. There were a few goods and bads with our room. It was good and probably meant to be that we were one of the closest rooms to the main kitchen and ice cream machines. It was bad because where you lay out and swam and all that good stuff was at the very bottom of the house so I got to make the one hundred-stair step challenge one hundred times a day. Usually up to the Ice cream machines that is.

There were slides, a rope swing, places to jump from, lots of different pools, caves, a huge gym, basketball court, I think like 4 garages, theater room, worlds biggest teeter tauter (Yup don’t know how to spell), 3 kitchens, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, fools ball, everything you can really think of at a house. We did a scavenger hunt one afternoon and the winner got NFL tickets so you better believe Chad and I were running around like crazy people doing everything we could possibly do to win. It was a real good time minus the fact we lost but we still enjoyed it! I didn’t get to jump from any of the crow’s nests or do anything too crazy but I did get to go down the slides lots and loved that. Nighttime swimming was the best! I really wish I would of taken more pictures but I guess oh well.

And as for now Chady left to Texas on Wednesday for an extension for the month of September. I had nothing to do in St George without him so I’m just home in Richfield loving life with the family but missing my hubby very much. It’s going to be a veryy long month! Lindie and I take our little company to Kentucky here in like 2 weeks for a show so we’re getting pretty excited about that. We pray it does well!  So hopefully that can just keep me nice and busy and this month of September can just cruise by and October can come and we can have a normal life.
Little baby Scotty or Scotti or idk is doing great! Just starting to get uncomfortable and I’m not so excited about that considering I have another trimester to go. But it is kind of exciting to be able to say I am 6 months. Only like 13 weeks to go and I really think it’s going to go by so fast. My babybump app puts her at 14.5 inches and about 2 pounds. My little brothers are fascinated with my belly and could touch it all day I think. They tell me everyday they think it’s bigger than the day before. I can’t really picture me getting bigger because I feel like I look 9 months Prego but I know I’ve got lots to go so this will be fun.
