Richfield

So guess what! We live in Richfield. Yes, in my parent’s basement. It’s a sad but good I guess. The plan was to build this fall. We had it all picked out and figured out until we had a little set back. If we wait till Chad gets this years tax returns it’ll all work out much better and we will only have to put down the 3.5% instead of 20%. So we are anxiously waiting till January to get them, file them, and get going!

Don’t ask me how we got Chad here for these 6 months but believe it or not this was his idea, not mine. Don’t get me wrong though I am more than happy to be here! I love being with my family and I just straight up love my Richfield. My mom thinks that having Chad here for 6 months might change his mind of this town and he will want to build here and not in St George. Haha we will see about that. Considering we will be here all winter I have no hope in Chad ever wanting to live here.

Living at the parents really isn’t as bad as it sounds though. We are the only ones downstairs and Chad mows the lawns for my brothers so they think this is the greatest thing that has ever happened to them. Scoti destroys the house and there are toys everywhere but we are trying to get better. We bought gates for all the stairs but the entry way is either too big or just retarded. Trying to dodge three sets of stairs is no fun. I’m loving waking up to breakfast and I am trying my hardest to make dinner for the fam! Scoti loves her grandma and grandpa and is constantly climbing up their legs and always wanting to be with them.

Chad got home last Thursday from Kentucky and then came to Richfield. We went to Payts game Saturday and then the family went up to the cabin for the night! Sunday we went down to Koosharem for the dedication. Nobody told us you couldn’t bring your kid though, so Chad and I sat in the nursery with her. Who enjoyed that more, Scoti or Chad? I would have to say Chad. Lying on the couch, playing with toys, this kid was loving church. We are now back in Richfield getting Chad ready to head to St George and then Scoti and I will head down later this week for Swiss Days!

A little update on our little girl! She is now 9 months old. Wearing 12-18 Months. Has a fake laugh and cry. Easy to make this girl giggle. Loves the tramp. Standing up all by herself. Starting to take steps. Still no hair. Says nanana I think its her way of saying mamama. Loves bath time. Dances to music. Loves her walker. Loves dogs. Loves climbing up your leg. She will climb anything and will push things over to where she wants to climb so she is able to climb it. Mastered the stairs. Loves clapping. Loves anything peaches. can open up all her snacks herself.

Well I really wish I had more to blog about but our lives are dull beyond dull. Probably won’t be blogging again till I actually feel like I have something decent to blog about. Sometimes I read peoples blog and the whole time I’m thinking this is retarded but I just keep reading and then I get done and think why did I just waste my time. Well you may just feel like that. Your fault tho.
Until next time!

A few pictures of this cute girl!....

Video Bloggg

It's time for a few videos. I wish I had more but I tried to stop taking so many on my phone and start using my actual video camera more. If only I knew had to put videos from my video camera onto my computer. I'm just not too smart when it comes to this kind of stuff and google isn't helping me out. Hopefully I can get an update blog off in the next few days too. So many cute pictures of my little girl!

Scoti is obsessed with the shower. She gets her little bath toys and takes them in there and plays. It's easy for me and convenient when I need to get ready. She loves to talk into the drain and make her voice sound loud.

She has never been a baby food fan. I found a few she likes so I try hard for her to eat a little every day. I thought I liked the kind where you just eat it out of it and don't need a spoon but we actually don't now. We really don't like either. She hates to be fed and wants to hold whatever it is. It's come down to her putting it on her trey and then sucking it off. Really the only way she eats it.

She is starting to try and take a few steps. She will be standing against the couch and will let go and try and take a step or two to get to the other side of the couch. I've wanted to get her one of these walker toys for awhile because I knew she would love. She is getting so good at it and able to kind of control herself now.

I  taught Scoti how to clap when we sing if your happy and you know it. She is getting so good at it and it's so cute. But of course when I try to capture it she is sleepy, looking real mad, and so focused on that tv she can't perform. That's always the case right??

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was definitely a success! We got to spend time with both families and just had a really good time!!
Life back in Utah has been great especially since Chad hasn’t had to work and we have no schedule and do whatever whenever. Wednesday we decided we would go down to Richfield and watch Payton play football and then that weekend we would go up to our cabin with my family!

We got up to the cabin Friday night and pretty much got everything unpacked and went to bed. Chad had gone up to Park City to watch his brother play football so he didn’t get there till about 2 in the morning. Saturday we got all the wheelers unloaded and went on a ride for a couple hours. We strapped down Scoti’s car seat between the two seats in the rhino and she fit perfect! After the first ten minutes she was out and slept till about the last ten minutes. An hour into the ride Chad, myself, Griffin and Payton got a little lost and it didn’t help when Payton told us he knew where to go and we actually listened to him. Thank goodness for cell phones because we literally would of ended up in Wayne County without my dad. We all got back together and decided we would ride up to the Monroe Mountain lookout. It was so pretty and a fun ride! We made cafĂ© rio that night and watched the Hunger Games! Sunday we went down to Koosharem for church and just hung out all day and shot some skeet skeet. Monday we needed to get back to St George to go to the Heward’s Luau party! It was so much fun and everybody dressed up. We decided we would try and pull of the tourist look. I kept telling Chad he was a freaking sexy tourist.

Well guys did I ever tell you Chad is already done with school?? Yes bless his heart. He went to one day so lets give him a little credit but like really….. It was Wednesday night and he had class again the next morning and I asked him a question about school and he told me he thinks he is going to drop his classes… I asked him why and he told me he was too far behind. I tried telling him he has only gone one day but if this kid thought he was too far behind now I can only imagine what he would be saying in two weeks after we bought hundreds of dollars of books and can’t drop classes. So I just say whatever and go with it.

The rest of our week was pretty bland. Chad made it to the lake with some friends and I just played at my grandparents with miss Scoti! Tuesday I got like way brave and chopped off all of my hair. At first I wasn’t sure about it and felt like I looked like I got in a fire but it is actually growing on me and I think I like it! Friday all my friends and Bay came down to St George and played! We went to dinner Friday, and swam all day Saturday! Sunday we celebrated my Mother In Laws Birthday!! I volunteered to make the cake since ya know that’s what I LOVE to do and then I find out her favorite dessert is pie. What???? I do not know how to make a pie. This mother would literally love anything and tell me its great even if it was disgusting but I really wanted to make her favorite so I spent my Saturday night making Pie!! I only tasted my chocolate pie but it was actually pretty good. I was happy with the results! I want to make a pumpkin pie now! I’ve been craving it!

So Chad is back in Kentucky for 10 days. Doing a little extension and training one of his buddies! I came down to Richfield last night and am going to watch my little brothers all week while my parents are gone at a gift show. I’m their favorite sister so this should be fun! I brought most of our stuff with me so our moving to Richfield is really happening. Going to be living the life in my parent’s basement. Wahoo!

As for my miss priss Scoti not a whole lot has changed with her. She has this cute scrunch face going on and does the O face and is just getting so big and smart. She has mastered the stairs and is getting brave standing all by herself.
