First Lindie is gone. L Sad I know. It was so nice to have her here. Of course though it’s like blazing 98 degrees and when she comes it rains everyday and she can’t even get her tan on. I guess that’s really only fair though since she gets to go to Lake Powell like six times and will get herself a good Utah tan! The Sunday before she left though we attempted to go to the beach. We knew it wasn’t the best weather but thought it would be okay. When we got to the beach there was like beach, Low Ocean, then beach, then BIG Ol Ocean. We wanted to be the cool kids so crossed the little shallow ocean and were laying out right by the big ocean. Just a few minutes into that the tide decides to raise a good 20 feet and soaks us all. Towel and everything. Then the wind decides to pick up. Our towels weigh like 50 pounds and that once shallow ocean now was the hardest thing to cross. We had phones and cameras as high as we could trying not to go under. It was an adventure. We then went and got us some great fresh seafood and headed to a different beach. The waves were so big and the boys were loving it. We walked around to the shops and got ice cream. Turned out to be a great day still.
Later that week we went to the zoo! The zoo here was so cool! The gorilla’s fascinated me but really it was all way sweet. Sad Chady couldn’t be there. He requested one thing only and it was to take a picture of a monkey.
That Thursday Kenny Chesney came into town. I have only been to a few concerts in my life but never a country one. It was amazing! So much fun! Especially with Whit and Marion. We loved all the drunks around us. Uncle Kracker and Billy Covington opened. I loved Billy! Then Big Boy Kenny put on a great show. It was so fun and I decided my favorite thing about concerts is I can sing so loud and there is no way anybody can even here me. You don’t even have to know all the words, that’s when you just mumble something then go on.
Last, our AC isn’t working. It’s been HORRIBLE! The last three days have been 95+ and the coolest it even gets in the night is like 70. Our house is in the 80’s. Chad had to sleep on the poor floor last night cause he swears it’s cooler. If they don’t fix it today I’m going to freak. It’s not good for a pregnant women to sweat like this. On the subject of being pregnant I will share with you all I am officially 11 weeks and 1 day today! Morning sickness is kicking my butt this last week or so but today so far has been so great! The only thing I’ve done different is I haven’t taken my nausea pill and have been eating candy. I think I’ve solved my problem. I have been craving Chinese food for a good month now. I want South China soo bad! I am going slightly depressed with no bathtub either. I have seriously been trying to talk Chad into buying a kiddy pool for our front room and I could boil some water to get it up to temp and just soak. I don’t even know how to shower. I took like 5 showers in the 18 years I lived at home. How do you shave your legs in a shower? They slip if I try to put them up against the wall, I get light headed bending over. I have to take a squat on the shower floor. So…. Great news, I am flying back to Utah for a week in June! My first thing will be going to South China and I WILL take a bath everyday I am there. I can’t even wait! && I can’t wait to see my family. I miss them soo much! I would say I can’t wait to see my friends but they decided to go to Disneyland and the beach the one week I decide to come home and visit. RUDE. But I actually miss them too. I can’t wait to just sit in our family room and watch TV. So sad Chad can’t come.
