July
For as boring as my everyday life usually is out here I find it very hard to understand how I couldn’t manage to make time to blog a little in over a month. But if you’re bored today like myself you’ll maybe enjoy it because it’ll be nice and long. I’m not even sure what I blogged about last.. maybe gender?? You see I’d check real quick but the cool thing is I don’t have Internet so I can’t. So I get to lay here and type it all up and then head over to the clubhouse to submit all this great stuff.
A life without Internet and cable has been a struggle. This means no netflix, no bachelorette, no facebook, and sadly no blog stalking. The pool was fun and all but now it’s like bathtub water and I can’t be in this 100+ weather with humidity 100%. And to top it all off all my friends out here have up and left to Charleston and we decided to stay in Columbia since I will be moving home so soon.
So let me back the month up and give you a run down of it all.
First, the Fourth of July. Hardest day of my life to date. Never had I ever imagined missing a fourth in Richfield. It’s like the best time of the year and I thought for sure even though we we’d go out and do summer sales I would make it home for the fourth. But no! L I don’t think Chad fully understand how much I must love him for the sacrifice I gave up this summer. After a week full of tears and that night after no parade, no city park lunch, no bull rides, no fish grab, no family bbq & no fireworks I knew something had to be done. I made the contract and he knew if he wanted a happy wife he would sign or forever regret marrying me. On the upside of the fourth though we did enter a volleyball tournament. We didn’t last too long but we put in a couple games and sweated like dogs. Last fourth I think I had 30+ pictures to upload, this year I’ve got maybe 2.. Sad.
The Sunday after the fourth Chad and I decided to go for a little Sunday afternoon drive. We went down to the state capitol building and walked around and saw a few things. After Chad wanted to see the gamecock stadium so on our way to try and find it we found a baseball game going to pulled over and caught a few innings. It was fun to go out and see a little more of the town we hadn't yet.
I also in Atlanta got to do a lot of shopping. Shopping for the baby that is. I got so many cute things and outfits. I would if it wasn’t completely pathetic post every little thing I got but for now just post my favorite little outfit and sleeper. Oh and my favorite shoes.
I’ve been making lots and lots of bows too! Here are a few I’ve made. I made the white one today and the others just along the way. I won't post all the bows either. Ha
Last, Chad and I bought our stroller today! Yay! I love it and it’ll be home waiting for me when I get there!
Chad’s got about ten or so more sells till he hits 100 and I’m so happy and proud of him! We want to hit that before we come home for Bear Lake and Jordon and Mary’s Wedding! We are leaving Sunday morning the 31st on our drive back to Utah!! He’ll get about a week off and then off he’ll fly back to South Caroline for 2 more weeks and I will stay in Utah working on getting orders out and getting the house back together. He’ll be back the 22nd for School and then we’ll both be home at last! Hip Hip Hooray!
I LOVE the new baby stuff!!!!! so adorable!! COME TO CHARLESTON.
