Birthday.Pirates Cove. Prom. Easter. House.

I have officially started and lost probably three posts this last month. Not that they were anything great or longer than maybe two paragraphs but it just shows that I have truly tried and wanted to update this and try to get around to it and something always comes up or I get distracted. I’ve done one post for the year.. That makes me sad to think about. It was an update of January and February, now I am here updating March and April. At this rate I will have 6 posts on the whole year. No way is that okay. I am making myself a promise to be better from this day forward.

Lets begin with this babes big birthday! Big 23! We celebrated Chad’s Birthday in Vegas this year and I don’t think either of us were complaining about that. Chad did forget to pack Scoti’s stroller though and so that promoted him to automatic holder the whole trip and that aint fun for no one. We got to do some shopping, have some good food and be around some of our Vivint friends. We stayed at the Trump and it is officially my favorite hotel in Vegas! No smoking, no casino, very nice and the BIGGEST, BEST bathtub I have ever been in. Chad came in when I was in there and told me I looked like a little person. Now who doesn’t love to hear they look little. I think I took 5 baths in the two days we were there.
We did the whole cake and ice cream that Sunday at Chad’s parents and Chad got spoiled as ever. Too bad he wasn’t surprised about one thing I got for him since I strictly told him, “Chad your presents are in the back of the car (we are homeless) DO NOT look back there”. One hour later he tells me he knows what he is getting and how would I ever expect I could tell him where his presents are and him not go look. What a party pooper I married.
We ordered some birthday room service

Before church on Chad's Birthday we walked around my grandparents complex and
took some pictures and played in the water fountains.

The middle of March we had our office party at Vivint for winning the cup during the summer. We got to go to Pirates Cove and we were so excited! We had been before and couldn’t wait to do it all over again! This place is amazing and is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Pictures don’t even do this place justice. Especially mine since I only took a few. We had such a fun time though and Scoti is our little fishy! You can’t keep this girl out of the water and she is fearless. I am excited for the summer with this girl!

The next weekend we headed to Richfield for Griffin’s Prom. Yes, we go and watch prom. I love it, Chad thinks it is the weirdest thing in the whole world! Him and his date were definitely the best looking couple there!

Easter this year was probably my favorite Easter ever and also my favorite holiday with Scoti so far. I think just because of here age and her actually getting involved with the holiday. My whole family was down for Easter in St George. Payton had a baseball tournament and it just worked out for everyone. We hadn’t done family pictures in I don’t know.. like 10 years! So pathetic I know. So we had them done this weekend and I cannot wait to see them and hopefully they turn out great! Scoti was a stink but is usually still cute. ;)
We watched baseball all day Thursday and Friday and also did an Easter Egg Hunt with the Royall’s Friday! Scoti loved picking up the eggs and would cheer every time she put one in the bag. We spent a couple hours at the park and the mixture of family, amazing weather and a park just made for the most perfect time! Saturday we had an Easter Egg Hunt at the Heward’s. My mother in law is so cute and had everything set up in the backyard for all the grandkids.
Sunday we woke up and the Easter Bunny made a special visit to Chad and Scoti! Scoti loved all her special dollar store last minute grabs and Chad couldn’t be happier to have a bunch of his favorites in a basket. My family decided we would all go to church with my grandparents. They are Southern Baptist so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When we got to church these ladies kept offering to take Scoti. I kept telling them it was ok and then right before church was about to start my grandma took Scoti and told me she needed to go to the nursery. Five minutes later someone brought me a pager and told me they would page me if Scoti needed me. Ummmm okay. haha kind of different but lets be honest, kind of nice! The service was good though and had lots of good music!

At one of Payts games there was a splash pad and Scoti
wanted to play in so bad so we stripped her down and
let her run wild! She was loving life!

Alright, now an update on our house! It’s just popping right up before our eyes and we cannot believe how soon it is going to be done! If the builders are right on schedule we would be in our home in 15 days. I’m going to give them some wiggle room and not get my hopes up too much and say it’ll be done around April 25th ish.
This was exactly one week after they poured the cement.
It popped up so fast!

This was about 4 days ago.

We leave Sunday for a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise and I couldn’t be more excited! I will definitely have lots to post and share once we get back!

Some extra pictures from the last two months....
